I agree. GoDaddy has become the one "not to go to" when it comes to hosting either a site or e-mail. I had problems with mail being rejected and identified as SPAM, when it wasn't. I could not contact any of my clients because for some reason the GoDaddy site had determined that my mail was not valid. I spoke with them several times and got nowhere. They're answer each time was that the mail must be SPAM. I've tried to cancel the mail service three times in the last month but it is still listed as being active. They refuse to cancel and refund the fees I've paid to them.

Do not, under any circumstances, use Godaddy.

In the past month, our site has been down at least twice that we know of. Both times we had to call Godaddy and alert them. Last night when I called, I was told the issue would be resolved in 24 hours -- absolutely not acceptable for our e-commerce site during the holiday season. When I called to check on status this morning, the timeframe had extended to 72 hours.

I asked the support person to please have an executive or manager call me back to discuss my concerns. The response was very clear: no one would call me. Instead, when the issue was resolved I would receive an email. I had to ask the question three times because I could not believe the answer was no.

The customer service at GoDaddy.com could not be worse or less interested in working with you or your business. Our tech guy had set us up with them but I've had to speak directly with their staff recently and today. Over this time I have spoken to about six different people--each of them indifferent and not interested in solving a problem--even when it is based in their policies! Do not use this company if you can help it. I just want to know how quickly I can get rid of them!
