We wanted to transfer our domain name after being with network solutions for at least 10 YEARS. The domain was due to expire in 4 days and hosts require that a domain is active at least 14 days before a transfer can take place. We talked to them about our problem and were finally told that we had to renew our domain name at $34.99 for ONE YEAR. Regardless of what you pay to start with them, this is the kind of service and pricing you can expect once you become their customer.
