Only once in the past 7 years did we have issues with them, this was during the transition to the V-Deck3. My average down time for all my clients accounts is under 1 minute per month. When I first started, I knew NOTHING about web hosting, etc., (and I still don't) but I read the reviews and decided to go with them. I used FrontPage 2003 to produce my web site and was having problems. One phone call, no long waits, and I was up and running. I will stay with them as long as I have a web site. I have been using StartLogic for more than two years and have had no problem. When I first started, I knew NOTHING about web hosting, etc., (and I still don't) but I read the reviews and decided to go with them. Checked out your #1, I now have more space than I know what to do with at a killer price (even though my boss would have paid ANYTHING to solve the email problems I just solved.) The vPanel is excellent and lets you handle EVERYTHING. For example, as I said my office runs on email and our website does nothing... so I allocated all 1500000 MB across 5 mailboxes and we're ready to go. I have high hopes.
